Fortekor is a once-daily treatment for heart and kidney health in pets. It supports cardiovascular function and helps maintain healthy blood pressure and fluid balance in both dogs and cats. Fortekor is commonly prescribed by veterinarians for long-term use and may offer benefits that continue for up to 24 hours after administration.
Suitability +
Fortekor is indicated for: -Treatment of heart failure due to mitral valve regurgitation and dilated cardiomyopathy in dogs. -Treatment of chronic kidney disease in cats and dogs. Use in breeding, pregnant, or lactating animals is not recommended unless the benefits outweigh the risks. Consult with your veterinarian.
Care and Instructions +
Administer orally once daily, with or without food, as directed by your veterinarian. Dosage: -Dogs: 0.25 mg/kg bodyweight; may be doubled if needed based on vet's assessment. -Cats: 0.5 mg/kg bodyweight. Always consult with your vet for appropriate dosage and monitoring. Storage: Store below 25°C (air conditioning). Protect from heat and moisture. Return unused half-tablets to the opened blister space, insert back into carton and use within two days.
