Suitability +
Suitable for dogs and horses. Use with caution and under veterinary supervision. Potential side effects include Cushing's syndrome, increased susceptibility to infection, and gastrointestinal ulceration. Contraindicated in animals with renal insufficiency, diabetes mellitus, or corneal ulceration, and pregnant animals. Long-term use requires gradual dose reduction to avoid adrenal suppression.
Care and Instructions +
Administer orally as directed by your veterinarian. Dosage ranges from 0.5 to 2.5 mg/kg bodyweight per day. Reduce dose gradually; do not withdraw abruptly. Store below 30°C (room temperature).
