Galliprant is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) belonging to the piprant class. It selectively blocks the EP4 receptor, a key prostaglandin E2 receptor involved in pain and inflammation. By antagonising the EP4 receptor, Galliprant helps to reduce pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis in dogs.

This medication is specifically for dogs to treat pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis. * Do not use in food-producing animal species. * The safety of this medication has not been established in dogs weighing less than 3.6 kg or in dogs less than nine months of age. **Adverse Reactions:** The following mild and generally transient adverse reactions have been observed: vomiting, soft formed or mucous stool, diarrhoea, inappetence and lethargy.
Care and Instructions +
.The recommended daily dose is 2 mg/kg bodyweight, given once daily. The tablets can be given with or without food, but giving it with food may reduce its absorption. Consult your vet for advice. **Storage:** * Unopened bottle: store below 30°C (room temperature). * After opening: store below 25°C (air conditioning). Keep the bottle tightly closed. Use within three months of opening. Store any half tablets in the bottle.
